Cruise and camp weekend

How about a criuse and camp out mount cotton or similar one saturday???? I am sure some of the brissy guys would surely like to go???
That way we can have a good tour through some windy scenic areas and then have a few beers in the evening and chew the fat and have a real bull**** session....
Any ideas anyone

i like that idea.. but it is gonna take AGES to organise ... alot longer than the cruzs as there is alot more to be organised.. eg. food for the weekend... accom for everyone... a suitable date which is set ahead ALONG time ahead so ppl can get organised n ****...etc... the list goes on!

i reckon what would also be good would be a skidpan day at mt cotton, you can group hire the diesel track and dry skidpan and go out for a fang, it is awesome, i did it a couple of years ago with the autospeed crew

Ummmm....I have organised stuff like this before....
Go to the skid pan for a few hours to let off steam>>>>>then a scenic drive through the glass house mountains to say lake borumba>>>>>camp for a night or 2>>>>any one want to offer suggestions to the route as i live in childers>>>and even try to make it fall on a weekend of a car show or similar to display some of the vehicles>>>>>me i've got just a standard turbo calais so its nothing special but is original as..........
Any one serious about it pm me or keep the forum open as i am prepared to organise something but officially for legal reasons

SKIDPAN, SKIDPAN, SKIDPAN... Lets do a skidpan day. PLEEEEEASE!!! I want to do drifting and hoon driving without fear of retribuion from the constabulary. Organise Mt. Cotton, well find out prices for a hire day anyway.

Also, a dyno day would be cool too.

damn !!! that counts me out hahah !!! na j/k

Dude there is no fear of legal action in the case of something going wrong if you are the organiser. The only way something can be put back on you, so i've heard, is that if we are a 'club'. We aren't a club at all so there should be no worries about insurance issues and the likes.

Someone suggested to me the same sort of worries in regard to EC cruises, but then i found out that as long as we arent a 'club' its all good

Cheers
Ollie

hahaha... betcha i'd get less than any VL that comes along - mine makes LESS than a stock n/a vl (someone gimme $ for a new engine !!! hehe)

camping sounds good, and the skid pan at mount cotton does aswell but i'll have to get the diff fixed before i go there, or else it will be towed home with a stuffed diff (already on its way out).

I'd be hell keen for a drift day out at Mt Cotton, i'd love to throw the VS round with the IRS ass and see how well she can drift, i know it kicks out kinda easy so who knows.

Camping may be good but i dunno if i'd go to that.

I'm another one keen for either skid pan/ camping-fishing weekend. That'd be great.
