vl tps on xf t/b

i removed the xf t/b from my car and took off the tps and when i put it back on the car stops when the vaccum reaches 0 hg and when i let my foot off the car starts running again im sure its the tps cause it was the only thing that i touched
just wondering if any1 else has had any prob with the vl tps on the xf throttle
any help would be great

I got told to put an XF TPS with the XF throttle body. Supposed to be better readings etc. I don't know how though.
I think the VL TPS only has two readings- 0%( foot off accelerater) and 100%( foot on accelerater). Whereas the XF TPS runs in increments depending on how far you have the throttle body open

i looked into this a while ago and i found that the xf t/b didnt match up? so how does it fit on?

just file a flat on the shaft until the tps fits neatly

Where do I start,

Firstly, Luke you shouldn't come on here and try and sound smart. :?

Second, Posting in the wrong sections is very annoying and a waste of time for someone who has to move it for you. :evil:

Thirdly, Your 'Barina' Turbo is always going to be a slug, remember when we raced and I only used 2 gears and flogged you, and then you chickened out of calder.

And last but not least, your signiture is very funny, intelligent to, but it takes one to know one :roll:
