Mounting kirkeys in a vl

Hey all, just curious to see who has mounted a 1 piece race seat- preferably kirkeys, into a vl. How did you go about it, make them mount and work on original rails or just solid mount to the floor? The floor is a pissed shape, and is the main reason I ask as I'm sure someone has done it before. Cheers, jake

i used a sparco, which was real easy to fit using the sparco brackets.
drill 4 holes so they line up with original vl holes in floor

Was it that easy? How about the mongrel shape in the floor where the seats mount, did you have to use spacers or anything?
