so true, 32 boxes aren't near as strong as 33 boxes. 33 boxes have the same internals as a GTR box, so in reality they're still good at 300rwkw, provided you dont flat change regularly etc.

Range from $1200 - $1500 though.

yeah not too keen on spending that much aye. do you think its better to get the gearbox rebuilt for 450 or buy a new box for 375??

Rb20 box shouldn't have any issues with 200rwkw. Would be your best bet. I dunno whether there are any differences between first gen Rb20 and second gen RB20 boxes though... ie nics and eccs engines/boxes.

lol, I find its the 4th gear/Layshaft drive gear thats ****s itself.....I have a very noisy R32 GTS-T 5 speed in bits.....*sigh* the only way to fix it is get a new set of front gears (like thats gunna happen!), and its a bit hard to get the gears off the gearbox at u-pull-it... (the 4th gear from a R31 Pintara would work) Bearing don't seem to cause that many problems in Nissan 5 Speeds from what I've seen......

Speaking of gearboxes, I have a old Nissan bluebird 5 Speed in mine....eeek (using a R32 front houseing tho....) The gearfaces are much smaller than the std RB30e 5 speed.....That why you'll probably see me drving slowly....lol......

A cheap option is a bluebird/Pintara gearbox, with your old front houseing.....
