suck it and see, just put the fan over your radiator and start cutting what needs to be cut to make them fit.

I used a piece of cardboard from the box that they came in as a template and refined it from there.

Nice! Good idea.

The only potential issue I can see is the trans cooler line. Should I just cut the shroud to fit?

Yeah my car was setup with lines running to both the radiator and trans cooler didnt wanna mess with the setup so I modded the shrouding to fit, seems to work fine clears the fans easy theres no way it'll ever hit.

Should be pulling the radiator out this weekend again so ill organize some pics of exactly what ive done to it all...

Also have done a 16" thermo conversion with the fan physically mounted into the shroud opening and edges around the fan sealed with Fibreglass and expanding foam. It seems to cool just as well as the AU thermos. This is what I currently have fitted, but I can interchange between the 2 by undoing 2 screws and plugging / unplugging the wires. Still retain the auto on but the other switch is now a manual overide in case the auto "forgets" to turn on.

The AU setup may clash with my planned piping runs, will have to wait and see. If it does I guess I'll piss it off for good.
I did this, mounted 16" davies craig to factory shroud, haven't sealed it though... having some teething problems with keeping a constant temp but never goes over 2/3 on the temp gauge, having said that I'd like to see it stay below 1/2. I use a davies craig thermo switch that I had a radiator place make a sleeve for so it fits into tank just below top hose.

Mine only reaches 1/2 in summer with the AC on....what the real temp is at 1/2 is anyones guess though.

You can pop around today if you like (PM for address). If not today it'll have to wait till next weekend at the earliest.

EL Thermos can apparently be made to fit VB-VH Commodores retrofitted with a VL radiator. You're game Charles, removing the clutch fan. Have you got quick release head studs to help with head gasket changes?
