Brake Problem

Hi all,
After completing my manual conversion, went for the first drive and noticed that the brake pedal is extremely stiff and cant be pushed in very far at all, the brakes do not work very well at all. . The only thing I can think of is that I damaged the cylinder when trying to get the pushrod on the pedal, I did notice that it got easier to push (by hand when installing pedal box) all of a sudden.
Any ideas?
Thanks guys,
Josh

This sounds like a master cylinder problem. (it might be seized or punctured)

You may have messed up the throw of the brake pedal when you installed the clutch pedal. Are you sure it's in correctly? Nothing is restricting it's path?

most probably your brake booster, master cylinders cause soft/low pedal when failing.

might wanna take off the master cylinder, then press the pedal and see if theres any restriction. If theres not then replace the master

I saw in the other thread that you had trouble gettign your brake pedal into the pedal box; I woul dreally ensure that it's in properly before you go swapping other things.
