Wow, those fans look huge on that radiator!

I have a set of fans fitted to a good two core radiator with a 40-100 degree Celcius control kit. Check my threads.

did this today, thought id show how i did it. I got a set of EL fans from the wreckers for $66. tested them out before i started cutting and they work sweet.

first just sat the raiator on the ground and kept trimming part off the shroud untill the fans would fit how i wanted them to. looked something like this

then i added some plastic tabs down the bottom to locate in the hooks on the bottom of the radiator, not the neatest best looking but you cant see it once its installed anyway.

for the top i used speed nuts on holes that were already in the radiator, and drilled 2 in the shroud.

havnt wired it up yet, will be buying one of the adjustable temp kits though.

I had to remove the bracket that is n the passengers side, next to the radiator it originaly holds a aircon line i think. and also the fans covered one of the trans cooler pipes from the radiator but i am running a big external one.
