Edlbrock make one, as do wilson, unless you are going hi comp, big cam and high stall there is no need to change the factory LS6 manifold. the factory manifold an throttle body will support over 300kw @wheels

what are the legalities behind filters/manifolds/carbys out the bonnet? can it be engineered?

Not down here, especially on a new car.

Assuming it's purely for aesthetic purposes it will still yield results even though the factory LS6 one on the car will do the job. Check out the Victor Jr manifold

my mate is using the above manifold on his 383 vy, good quality and probably best bang for buck one out there atm.

A mate has just put this set up into his 408 VT. Will be interesting to see how it performs once its up and running. Ran 138mph with the old motor
