Attention Darkstar but everyone from Sydney pls read

Remember a while back I posted a story about a guy who put his VLT in for a dyno and they blew it up and still charged him $250?

It turns out the old owner of the car used to regularly put the car on a towtruck and take the car down to Wollongong for a dyno. The car apparently had heaps spent on it by him.
The new owner (a mates son) took it to a 'rotary' workshop in Western Sydney (sorry thats as close as I can get) and they are the ones who thrashed it, blew the motor up and still charged him $250. They then quoted about $5000 to repair it.
He already paid $12K for the car...way too much. I believe that it's a white VLT SL. Expensive lesson for him.
Hope that's of some help to people in Sydney

Moral of the story, Dont takea piston engine to a ROTARY workshop !

DO your research, and try to get people that know your car and have had HEAPS of experience. Proof of this is cars running good quarter mile times, and are reputable.

Thanks aus880 for the info
