91 really!? I think the aboriginal side of my family got to wa around 50 years ago and lived around fremantleish.

In actuality I have zero noongar liniage. All Eastern states so I have no real claim to anything in wa although I have walked a couple of stages of the bibbulum track and have done a couple pretty epic poos in the bush.

In 88 there was riot and prisoners burnt the roof out of divison 3, i learnt this on one of the tours at the gaol. The wardens say the riot started as there was a heat wave in Perth at the time, however others say it was a break out diversion for inmates invcluding bank robber "the postcard bandit" Brendon Abbot. He mastermined the riot by convising inmates to collect petrol from the lawn mower in their drink bottles. He didn't escape untill nearly two years later when a he and an inmate climed and jumped the high walls dressed as security gaurd uniforms they sewed themselves in the gaol tailor shop.

Here's the bull bar (full front bumper replacement).

Cheers, looking pretty ghetto, I went over a curb in busselton today and dent the shjt out of the dump pipe. Lucky its 3" diameter. Even in country towns lowered city spec springs have your chasis, tranny and exhaust hitting all sorts.

So, I just booked it in for a suspension over haul. "Country Pack Suspension" was an inflatable Monroe gas shocks in rear with a risen spring height. As this car was a country pack car, so it will be again.

Should be good to get some mud and miles underneath it, but now nut leaving until this is done and a proper service.

Ok, so leaving tomorrow to go up north and ffs hows this storm? Picked a heavy weekend to go in, but im pretty excited all the same. I hear a few of the tracks have some water on them too :s

Have got the country pack suspension and raised springs installed.... looks pretty different to most vl turbos you see, i must say im going to get some sideways looks flying through the desert!

Also repacked my bearing, new tyres, checked fluids, oil change and filter, fitted an oil catch can, also trying out a newer technology fuel polarizer, my collegue from japan gave me.

posting pics tomorrow with new adjustable gas suspension.

so got up here a yesterday, had a good two and half hour drive down a sandy / gravel track was about the most fun ive ever had in my car!

120klm/h with the turbo whistling, and fish tailing for about 100klms, classic.
A couple of sections would have seen the bottom of the car propper rooted had i not had the desert spec suspension.

yew! pics soon (when i suss out my camera, not often have reception / internet available.)

pretty fun ride, just got back last night did a 15 hour drive straight through!!!

i took my tools, fuel, oil, 1 x spare tyre, 1 spare afm, 1 stock stock cross over pipe in case the fmic bottomed out / broke. I dropped the sump and changed 4 liters oil up and back too.

the new risen suspension was really good to ride on the road, sand and gravel, you can pump up to 150psi into the shock valve and lift the end by about 2.5"

the polarizers are the two carbon magnetic cells that clip over the fuel lines. they get a charge from the battery. my theory is that the charge changes the fuel molecules somewhat and helps it burn 100% of the fuel and produces less carbon and gives a better fuel ecconomy. I seem to be using about 10 or 11 liters per 100klm on the highway and about 20 or 22 liters per 100klms in town with the turbo whizzing..... so im not sure if its proven anything yet?
