i did a heap of 11's years ago in the vl, best was 11.5 at 120mph. A circuit car isn't a good choice down the strip! That was when it had 250hp less than what it does now

Yeah just 250HP ? some guys just have too much power!!!! Whens the next race meet for you Brent, Good excuse for the boys to cruise out to the track see your car in action and talk crap

the holden enthusist club normally have a drag day and it is open for others to take part in. was the first drag meet i took the VL to once painted before the GT35/40 went on, Me and my mate ended up lined up with each other in the final, awesome day

I think they have a web site not sure they are a really active club and do alot of things welcome to any Holden no matter what and normally cruise to most major motoring events, I think it is also in petrolhead in the events section, pretty sure it is around August or September

Resse Fish would give it heaps, there is a few cars here in NZ that will do a mean skid or two, but the problem will be that not every one has 750m plus to practise without the cops being able to ping you for your attempts. The top aussie guys will be the ones to watch like the cross road team and deffinately ELVIS ? but thought he has taken the motor out and put in his drag camaro

I had my berlina at meremere last year at one of the nightspeed drags, 1st time i've ever raced and got a best of 17.138 at 128km/h, i was hoping for mid 16 but hey it was my 1st time and i still enjoyed it.
