power steering seals

anyone know where i can get a seal kit from to fit the power steering rack in a VL?

ummmm id say repco mate if not jus get someone to reco it for you...

saves the hassle doing it yourself

i wasnt goin to do it myself, the mechanic who said they wood do it for me said he would do it cheeper if i supplied the seal kit

Why not goto holden and ask them if they still have the seal kit?

Try some power steering places for the seal kits... Your best bet would be to do a change over of your old rack for a reco rack at a power steering place...

How much is your mechanic going to charge to fit the seals to your rack?

you will struggle to find a seal kit at a parts place because no mechanic has the expensive and special tools to do up racks. only steering places have the gear to do that sorta stuff. a reco exchange rack will cost bout $350ish then round the $150 mark to fit it with oil
