PerfomanceGarage.com.au put the vid up.

Got a screenshot here of the vid...
Seems some people lobbied for the video to be pulled down.

details are sketch - seems the driver may have ended up with some inuries to the leg - but unsure. Another driver pulled over and used thier extinguisher.

This is a good reminder that even with built components, it's still probably a good idea to go the extra mile an install a ballistic blanket / scatter shield when pushing 900+rwhp.

I was not there at the time - only saw the video, so can only speculate.

The car was manual - had a R33 5 speed with a full jim berry clutch/flywheel setup. Unsure if any injuries, I think I read somewhere that he was injured, but would unable to say if minor or serious.

Vid was taken down by request... but I think the photo says it all really.

I have burns to most the front of my shins, yes I was very lucky. I requested video to be taken down as don't need the **** talkin, car did not have ballistic blanket, from what I can gather clutch must of started slipping. Car makes over 950rwhp so I think its time for auto. I have built this car myself so I know it wasn't rookie error, box was R34 5 speed with OS Giken 1-5 close ratio gear set with full Monty clutch which had been spot on for last 18 months. Full credit to Jim for building a clutch that copped a hiding for so long. U can't account for mechanical failure and unfortunately that's whats happened

Good to see you are ok mate, I'm sure more people will be aware of what can happen now if the correct safety gear is not used... Do you know what made it go? Was is a lightened flywheel of standard?

Good to hear your legs are still attached and you're still alive. Video looked pretty messy.

Thanks for clearing everything up - you won't get **** talking about this on here.
