They are only LSD if they were ordered like that from factory... No turbo or calais model came factory with an lsd...

And all n/a diffs are 25spline. All turbo diffs are 28spline

Hingo is correct. LSD was an option. All Calais came with a disc brake diff, however LSD didn't automatically come with it.

An N/A Calais diff is the same as a turbo Calais in that they both have disc brakes, however the turbo Calais diff may have been optioned with LSD.

Hingo is correct... LSD was a factory option no VL come STD with LSD...

The Non turbo calais come from factory with a 25 spline 2 pinion diff with disk brakes.. The Turbo come from factory with 28 spline 4 pinion diff with disk brakes. The V8 come with a 28 spline 4 pinion diff.

The N/A diff may have been optioned with LSD also, and they are not the same as turbo diffs.

You could buy a NA VL with an LSD from factory if you put it down as an option...

Also the Vl's with the 2L motor in them that went across to New Zealand has 4.11:1 gears where we only got 3.45:1 for NA and turbo and V8 got 3.08:1

Apparently in the 1988 editions of the VLT's everyone from factory had LSD as standard.
