car is officialy a VLCT.
first start was tonight. got it hooked up today the went to turn it over and no fuel pump prime, then after some further investigation realised no power was getting to the computer.
so played around with it most of the day trying to figure out why. decided id try my old wiring loom. got it all hooked up and bingo power to the ecu. tried starting and run like absolute sit barely would idle and wouldnt rev up at all.
advanced the timing a bit and now its running sweet. will chuck the timing light on tomorrow to check and still need to fit the exhaust from the dump down. has the meanest flutter...
i was like a little kid at christmas. ill post up some pics and maybe a vid tomorrow.

Sean you have done extraordinarily well in the last few weeks to get as far as you have, Most people would have taken months or even years. Give your self a pat on the back. Looks fantastic. Keep up the good work

Woah! I just read the thread from start to finish and it's unbelieveable how much work you've done in so little time top work mate. Although my I ask why you've got the accellerator cable running from the front of the motor and not from off the firewall? Just abit of a newy on the vl scene and that caught my eye lol.

thanks mate, with the accelerator cable because my cooler piping is 3'' its a very tight fit and it only just fits into the bracket. you can see in the pic how the cable is bent on the piping. when i had it running the normal way it was an even tighter fit and i was having trouble with the cable poping out of the bracket.

well hopefully diff will be going in this weekend.
have been slowly getting exhaust to all fit, have cat converter fitted now but cat back system seems a bit to short, really have to pull it in to get it to fit.
need to replace brake line from master to rear of the car then bleed brakes.
interior 95% complete
fix power steering leak
fit new fuse rail
fill gearbox with oil, and wire up senders
fit front bar
get chip fixed in front windscreen
fix hazards (flash really really fast)

think thats the last of it lol probably forgot a few little things but getting there. as for an actual date not really sure hopefully soon. list just never seems to end
