3.7 diff gear issue

hey guy so i scored a set of 3.7s ages ago then i scored a irs lsd diff so i figured id put the gears into the secon difff then puth the complete diff up into the car but when i was fitting the diff gear i came across a few issues,

the pinion gear is to short it dont seem to bottom out as it gets tight (the bearing bottoms out befor the thread), so i played around with the crush washer and made to suit so that the pinion gear bottoms out and tightens now with out crushing the bearing,

second was that the actual gear has alot smaller bolt holes, it sill all lines up but the bolt for the gear and nothing like the right size,

which had me thinking, what are the gears out of, all my mates reckon they could be out of a vx and up or something like that, any help would be gr8 and can the numbers on the gears help work out what they fit

possible its otu of a vx they run a slightly larger diff bw80 over the bw78 (8 inch over 7.8inch) you can see the size difference though theyre quite a bit larger side by side

109 AG bw 3.7.1 on the pinion gear
