?

Anyway -chances are your turbo is on the way out if its taking a while to spin up. Does the wheel spin freely by hand? any movement in the shaft?

Do you have an exhaust leak? Is the spring holding the wastegate fully shut?

yes that is gonna be your problem. new turbo is needed by the sounds of it, and just for the record a r33 turbo is smaller than a vl T3. cheers

i wanted to get the largest standard nissan turbo rebuilt and hiflowed. i thought it was the VG30DET but i rang GCG im pretty sure and emailed the tech guy at HPI and both said RB25DET was the biggest which suprised me being bigger than both 3 litres.

.....I'm sure you can find a standard T3 somewhere, f*ck it's not that expensive.

Too many people on this f*cking forum screwing around with sh*t that sucks and is "cheap" or they "just happen to have or were given for free".

Do it right!

if you need a new blade on the turbo, a milo tin lid and a stanley knife work ok for a temporary fix, strengthen it with heaps of solder.

yes but the VG30DET which was out before the Z32 was a sigle T3 turbo found in cedrics, glorias, cimas and leopards.

rb25det turbos are definately not bigger than t3's lol. And cant believe you put a turbo on with a missing fin. Its just not gonna work mate new turbo is what you need.

The wheels are similar but the exhaust housing are definately not the same, i think rb25 is a .58 vs .63 for VL

a VL or rb25neo/VG30DET ball bearing T3 is the best to highflow the latter having the wastegate in the housing which is a bonus
