evening blue o,g sl turbo lw5 ms1

hi guys just purchased an evening blue 86 sl turbo LW5 - Engine MS1 auto
bought it off my mates dad he has had it since 1990.
car is evening blue in coulor with white interior
has o,g paint job from 86 so as you can imagine its shot to pieces
good point is that there is no evident rust at all being a country car all its life it has weathered well.
body is straight few small dints here and there but good for age
250,000 klms
rebuilt motor and auto
car is pretty o,g although has sidemount cooler which was added some years ago, turbo timer and boost gauge, bigger exhaust.
has momo star wheels been on it since 1990 ducktail wing that has also been on there since 1990 not sure if it came out with that being an sl
comes with stock crossover pipe airbox etc im thinking of taking cooler off and taking it back to o,g.
im am also going to do a full respray thinking maybe ve green, black,or a mettalic blue,or maybe back to o,g evening blue, was there many made in this coulor ?
i said i wouldnt buy another vl as theyre getting on now but i guess the passion never dies i had one for my first car back in 1998 on my p,s and this is my fifth vl turbo.
i am chasing 3 center caps for the momo stars if any one has them.pics will be up soon i will put up some detailed pics of the build, also is some1 has a white interior i would be keen to buy as there are some holes in the seats were rats have been at it the car has been in a storage for the last 4 years.

why would you change the ext colour of an orig turbo VL?

if you do repaint at least go the orig colour, anything else and the value will drop

never seen or heard of a white interior, pics pls

its not a dead set white maybe more beighish will put up pics,i will be def repainting as it still has o,g paint job from 86 so as you could imagine it is wearing through in places and is shot,im really liking the ve dark green coulor but also considering painting orig coulor or maybe black
