Id be *** impressed if you had a started ur car on water now that would be worth posting a video. Its sold at the pump of course a car is gonna run on it.
Massive inlet temps on the dyno sheet but, was it dynoed in a sauna?

I couldn't care less if your impressed

The vid was posted to show how a car should start on e85 as the previous tune had no idea how to start on e85

I know what the car makes n how it drives
It's still sitting in my garage as I haven't had time to fix it
It will b all fixed this weekend then most likely out of my hands
If I still hav it by next weekend I'll take it out for a run n get a true figure on the dyno

All I can say is it makes a ****load of power n is a handful on the street

Not bad for my "sh1tter" setup

Funny, nothing in this thread about the fact that the previous tune never got completed due to problems with the car. I normally do cold start last, when I know everything else is correct on the tune. Some other must do it different.

There is also nothing in the thread about the previous tune in regards to changing from drum E85 to Pump E85 half way through. And even a mix of half and half "just to see what happens" Even though the 2 fuels have completely different densitys.

I tune E85 cars on a weekly if not some times daily basis. Funny your the only one that I have never actually finished a tune on and the only one having problems.

It was only ever tuned by pete on pump e85, never drum until the dyno day
N if mixing the 2 fuels is a bad idea, why even tune it?
Pete drained my tank of eflex n filled it with drum e85 so it was all the 1 mix

And we had the same dramas on the dyno at pete's lik at Efi
But he was able to fix the problem, car wasn't running right on coppers so he threw in some really old iriway plugs, ran perfect, he rang autobarn, I went n got a new set of plugs

I remember being told by u guys that my fuel system was maxed out at 400odd hp

The car was never cold at pete's to do the cold start properly but funny how it started perfectly on cold start even without having it cold
Must just b a fluke...not tuning ability

Like I told Rick, there was several things wrong in the tune that had to be fixed n pete was happy to talk to u guys n tell u what was wrong but no1 rang him

I could go on but there's no point
My cars will never b tuned by anyone else but pete
His knowledge n tuning ability is 2nd to none

It was tuned on both pump and drum and a mix of the 2 at EFI. Thats my point.

Pete did finish his tune how ever. Regardless if it was cold there or not. He actually got to a point where he was happy with the map, set the cold start corrections and engine temp correction.

So, we are here to celebrate the great job that was done on your car by Pete.
Im not here to deny that. I always said Pete knows what he is doing. You have the dyno sheet to prove it.
Im still learning. Always will be.

The tune has never been completely finished
Tyres have stopped that both times

I really couldn't care less what power it makes
My next setup is the big hp/big mph/quick et setup

This setup was basically trial n error of what works n what doesn't

I would lik to hav seen what u could hav got from it but it wasn't to b

I'm extremely happy how the car turned out for such a low $ setup
Motor still stock n head basically unported
There's alot more in it if it had a fully built head n bottomend

The car wouldn't be where it is if it wasn't for 3 people that helped out alot

Intake sensor was sitting at the filter for the turbo
If it gets run up this week then I'll make sure it's hanging up near the screen to get a true figure

I'll see what happens this week, might b able to round up a few cars to come out

Fixing a couple other little things on it to
Oil drain on the turbo is leaking a touch n it's a damn bitch to fix!
If I'm out, will either hav Pigsy or pete with me

Been searching the us supra site to c what mph 6spd cars run with roughly my power
700rwhp on a dynojet which would b prob about 650 on a dd sees full weight 6spd cars run about 140mph

So it should b a 140mph+ car
