Squeak

As long as my brother has had his VL theres been this squeak that comes from the drivers side rear end. Now that ive got the car it drives me absolutely mad! The other day i was at a service station and a guy pulled in with a imperial blue calais all original and as he pulled out of the drive way there was the squeak any idea of where its comming from im guessing there has to be a few people on the forum whom have had the same problem im sure its something simple but i cant seem to pin point where its comming from!! Cant wait to WD40 the farken thing!

I had a squeak coming from the back end as well(right side). Because the VL is lowered and has 17inch rims, one night with a full car load of people, I bottom out the suspension going over a bump, anyway it was giving me the sh!ts. So I raised the the diff so the wheels where off the ground(with stands, chocked the front tires) and placed the car in gear. What happened was the rear axle was bent slightly and the brakes where rubbing on the pads. Very hard to notice. But looking from the back end whilst the car was lifted of the ground you could see a slight wobble.
Since I've replaced the axle, no squeaks.

fark not so simple! My car is far from being lowered its a BT1 so its still got the original FE2 suspension in there. I wouldnt put it past a copper droppping it off a kerb at 50 kay an hour and fcking the rear axle!

i bottomed out my vl with a car full, and it started to squeak under the rear passenger, only when accelerating under pressure like going up a hill, and going over bumps, the spring has spun and bumps up and down
