lol, i dunno man, its just a normal caribbean crusader thats had the inside changed mainly for fishing and a 400 litre fuel tank, i would love for u just to bring the sigma and tow it to port stephens and back and still have a car left.

its not just the little 40 minute trips that were concerned about, because that close and it dosnt matter, but when we do 13+ hour trips with the boat, its REALLY ****ING SLOW and we do allot of these trips, yes, the cruiser will take it to those far places going very slow, but after like 2-3 trips, the motor will be ****EDDDDD, which is why if we go BIGBLOCK or something different, we might not have to push it sooo hard and we might have a longer lasting engine thnx 4 ur replies

some ppl have told us that and others have told us to go with it, cant justify spendign $50000+ for an F250 when we can spend like $15-25000

LOL, u gotta get me one of those...

SEXIE-RED, we might wait like a couple of months or if not tow it to narooma and portland a couple of times, and when it ****s up (like it will) we will put in the 502.. hopefully their not that expensive and we can get it very soon, we also need to get a gearbox, possibly a turbo400 with 3 speed and over drive or sumthing like that, an adaptor plate for the transfer case and later on in the future once the diff goes ( if it does ) put in a bigger one, possibly 9 inch..

Sorry I'm a bit late in this thread but we can tow this mother with a merc Sprinter van no worries at all. Trailer is a custom alloy thing from Cairns.

Now THATS a fishing boat!

If a trailer is properly weighted, it's a just matter of how big your brakes are.

I've had issues towing a car trailer that was about a tonne under the towing capacity of the car because the thing was badly weighted.

Correctly weighted, a Cruiser can to a 5 tonne yacht.

thnx for ur replies.. thing is, yes the car does pull it and it does tow the boat.. when the fishing season is on here, its sweet as, but once a bluefin tuna and **** come on at portland and the marlin come on at narooma, were shooting up there allot, for a couple of times to go there its alright, but then **** goes wrong with the car, because its simply not designed to be pushed too hard, its a pain in the ass..the hills is what kills us the most, with the foot flat to the ground and doing 15-20 km/h and dropping, and the revs dropping, its not too good. ny ways, we now know what we gotta do in the future motor/cars wise so thnx for ur comments, dnt need ny more help, thnx boys...
