They're the same as the Calais sedans. That little plaque fits under the left centre air vent above the radio. If it's a turbo then the turbo badge fits on the right side of that same piece.

Saw the weirdest thing today on the ABC news. They were showing images from 2009 and the Victorian bushfires came up. The pic showed a VL wagon, burnt out, with Calais rims and the nose missing back to the bonnet. It looked for all the world like a Calais wagon where the bumpers and fibreglass pop-ups had gone after being torched. Anybody know anyone that lost one then ?

Also, does anyone have any more info on this car ? I've got nothing on that registration and just stumbled across the photo on Photobucket..

That sucks Brandon, but good to keep in mind. As mine was supposed to be a quick resto it's never been out of rego or insurance. Quite easily could have been though if I knew it would have taken this long.

Might be another new one. The rego doesn't come up on what I have so far. I'll drop him a line. Thanks.

Fire doesn't muck around does it. What a mess. Such a shame.
You'd really be much better of starting with complete cheap n/a wagon and doing a transplant. Trying to source all the original engine bay rubber hoses won't be fun either.
