Does anyone know where to get a one piece windscreen mould from to suit a vl I find the original one pools water to much in the corners and leaks.
Any help much appreciated

I just got mine from my windscreen guy, so would assume any good windscreen company would have them.

Did you have any rust there? Rot around the windscreen will cause it to leak regardless of the seal

Leaking just after the screen was done? Other than rust, they might not have sealed it properly.
Happened with my first VL, had the rust done then next time it rained it leaked top centre of the screen. Pulled it out and they'd missed about 2cm with the sealant. Was lucky in the end as the panel beater hadn't undercoated properly and the passenger side of the sill was beginning to rust already after only 3 weeks.
When I had my Calais done they used a universal seal which looks just like the VK seal. Looks tidy and no more problems with water.

Yer they took out my windscreen and was rusty as had it at a panel beater that day to get it fixed, put back in then a leaker, I would just put sealer around it but I want a tidy look like a vl seal, any ideas where to get one from waughy????

Mine was done at the panel beaters when they did the rust. If you look for my thread on my old Calais there's a pic of it. They filled the hole where the original plastic mould clipped in, it looked great.
Try the local panel shop, they should know what you are asking for.

They were and most people don't bother with the old set up as it will always be prone to rust.

the 'VT' seal which everyone is using is just a generic seal, every windscreen place has/uses it
