Roadworthy Cert With a B&M Shifter??

Hey all
im wanting to know what the go is with B&M Shifters
can i get a roady with one ?
the car has been outta reg for a while so i think its gotta go to the pits aswell.
Any info will be appreciated

you can but only with the quicksilver and star shifters cause the 1 2 D N R P is on the right hand side with the others there on the left

Would they even pick up on that? Make up your own 12DNRP for the other side if you want. also i think that they have to have the standard thing that doesnt let you select with out pressing the button on some gears.

also the illumination must work! and no starting in reverse or in gear.

Also aslong as it is mounted under the original plastics so that its not higher than the original shifter a mate got done for it sitting higher than the factory shifter!!!

I have a megashifter in My VL and neutral safety switch works, reverse lights work, has illumination and the Gear indication is on the right hand side

Anyone know about mounting one lower however?? I was wondering this, how do you mount it lower??

do as i have done and cut your tunnel and weld in a boxed off section say 1-2" lower then where the stock shifter would sit. ill get pics of mine if u want ? i havnt got the console in yet.

yep, my Quicksilver did. The shift indicator was also on the left-hand side and it passed many roadies!

I reckon b&m shifterz look clean as when the consol is removed and the tunnel is carpeted!!

Thanks for that any chance of a pic with the console out?? showing the box??

I may have trouble doing this, I dont know how much room i will have in that trans tunnel....very tight fit with the TH700 lol
