man, overseas countries dont realise that Australia has had some sweet cars. GTHO Phase IV or III (i forget), was the worlds fastest production sedan for like 15 years, and the HSV SV300 was for a short while aswell. All those old GT Falcons ruled, Monaros, Toranas, VLTs, HSV, FPV, Aussie Tickfords, Joss GT, Elfin, XR6T, Fairlanes, Statesmans..... I would also LURRRV to see a Maloo and Pursuit in the game..... and how about Bathurst!!!!! geez!

So true bro all the world seems to care about is Skylines Supra BMWs etc.

If other countries knew about our cars they would **** in their pants.

Maybe GT5 will have all the great Aussie muscle cars.

HELL YES

GT4 owns GT3 100 times over the cars in it is incredible.

For instance I never knew Skylines dated back to the 60s until I got GT4.

And where totally pathetic compared to the Alfa Romeo's (mostly 105's) of the era...yet where are they?

I know the game is mostly intended for the Japanese market, but then you get these 15 year olds (from everywere else) thinking the only good cars in this world are Japanese. And then you know what they buy for their first car....lol, maybe Sony is getting kickbacks from the Japanese car manufactures......if so its a great idea.....

...GT4 makeing old medicore cars seem like they may be worth something...
Then again VLTs might be a hidden car somewhere in the game.

Yeah tell me about it! Thats one thing this game needs even more than better handling! And on another note, Talking about all these Aussie cars, I hav been thinking this for awhile. What we really need is a game that focuses wholey on Australia and it's history of cool cars. How mad would that be?........ 600KW Stage 4 VL TURBO up against a big power XR6T up at Bathurst! Trouble is though either no ones interested in making it, or Australian game designers are too crap to make it. Look at how long Rugby league took to make, and even then, it's not of the best standard.

Ye ai agree that it should have more aussie muscle cars. But speaking of muscle cars, i just bought a 440 R/T charger and with only a stage 2 tune is making 560hp and damn it sounds tough .

And with weird concept cars, i raced in some toyota Cup and i won a Jet engined prototype . It only has one gear, sounds like a plane and it can reach about 193mph .

If anyone has a GTR, easy way to win money is to race in the Skyline Cup, it's piss easy and if you come first in all the events, you win a GTR LM road car worth 105,000. I sold it straight away, as i dont need to skylines and it is easy money.

Also, B-spec mode is what dreams are made of, i just sit back, press a few buttons and let the computer race my car

i know about your car down there... and my garage is full of aussie car... fighting my brother all day down the Nurburgring Nordschleife with my ss commodore and monaro cv8... and he with his bmw m5 and m3 gtr.. but i have to say i am having i hard time keeping up... I agree with u guys .. the game is "as always" about supra, skyline, and now bmw.. but it is a good game after all.. yesterday me and my brother build a "thing"..i dont know how to say it in english.. for my gt driving force pro steering wheel.. and a car seat.... very nice = )..

whats your record on the Nordschleife?

haha i get what you mean...
I got a pretty cool setup, we bought the driving force pro wheel with it too..here's a pic of 'turboluke's setup

Its a lot harder to drift now with the new handling physics...
Also for people trying to get big money, do the second couple of races in the special conditions section, you win this weird looking toyota rally car worth a fair bit...piece of piss to win.
l8r !

i hopeim wrong but i doubt we will see a lot of aussie cars. the game is made by japs (hence the billions of rice cars) and the second biggest market is america...i dont think australian sales are enough reason for them to do al the hard work involved in making these cars (1 month per car or sumthin ridiculous!)
its a shame tho...maybe one day in gt10 or sumthin

I found it easier to do the 2nd Tsukaba(sp) wet race and win the Mazda6 touring car I just kept winiing them and got 95,000 every time I sold one.

Hehehe thats a cool sim setup should see mine it has a racing seat in it this is a actual car simulator we made it has wheels and a exhaust sticking out the side

just so you know, it's not my setup. its another guys off here... but yeh
I paid $300 for the pack, driving force pro wheel and gt4...

Definately the easiest way so far to make money is the second rally in the special conditions section... it's a tarmac one, but easy to win 2x2 lap races, then you sell the toyota weird 4wd/celica lookin rally car thing for like 240,000

I was drifting a Mazda mx5 this morning, one of the better driftable cars I've tried so far... but still way harder than gt3...
what percentage of game completion is everyone up to ?

Jay

Once I get some pics of it I will.

It even comes with brand names like Autometer,NOS etc.

And it has a wheelie bar.

The last IA test is a bitch on the wheel cause you do 370 and the wheel shakes like ****.

I finally got it yesterday and I just completed 25% of it so now I can do the Endurance events.
