That turbo is rooted..... look at the huge chips on the blades in the ebay pic....

Sounds like a dodgy engine rebuild.

That alone puts me off. I dont really think he cares if its a good motor or not, he just wants the sale.

You'd want the head off to make sure it's no N/a bottom end.

and check engine numbers are all legit and it's not stolen.

Hey Guys,
I had the same thoughts aswell, but I got the engine numbers off himand it was all clear. I asked him why there was a N/A rocker cover on it.

He asked me where I lived and that was close by where he was and he told me to come over, right there and then he cracked the head off and there were a set of nice shiny ACL forgies turbo of course (they must have cost at least 1000+ for pistons alone and he doesn't even know it wat a ****).

He siad to me he was sick and tired of ppl saying it was a top end conversion with just a n/a bottom end. Also he said a rocker cover is a rocker cover, next time he will put a red rocker cover to make everybody in the VL world happy. He was a bit of a smart arse to me about it.
I have no money but I thought I might share this with everyone here just in case someone wants to pick up a bargain motor from this sucker even if the turbo is still abit shagged who cares I will just get a second hand front wheel and she will be right!!!
Bit of a **** head but he had some good stuff there, commodore 9" and power glide fully manualised transbraked everything with a TCE 4,500 stall!!!

must b a few of them out ther in ebay land,i was "luky" enuff 2 get a 2nd chance offer 2 buy a complete turbo outfit....then he proceeded 2 tell me he happnd 2 b holidaying in the uk[he had a uk email address tho] and he wantd me 2 pay by western union[direct cash]..thnk ill give it a miss lol.....
