Record thread (to clean up this forum)

To avoid ongoing bullsh!t regarding 'whos the fastest to xxxxxx with a xxxx' or the old 'im trying to be the first to run a x.xx with a xxxx' im putting this thread up so we can all get the facts.

So if you are 100% sure on a car and its record post it up.

An example of what im trying to clear up for some is things like... someone was saying how they want to have the 1st vl to run a 9 with a 35/40, well hate to be the bearer of bad news but VL.0747 did that in 04/05
We all know who the 1st to run a 9 with a t3 highflow is etc.
Please try and keep all the posts/replies factual and keep all the sh!t fights out of this thread.

Also mods try and avoid closing this as there is a point to this seriously.

And please no crap like who was the 1st to run a 10 with their number plate to the side

Thanks

Can anyone confirm if a nine has been run in street trim ? Eg :Streetfighter rules.
The fastest I know of with radials is maxpsi with a low ten. For anyone that has ever tried to run fast times on radials will appreciate what a kick a** time that is.

MAXPSI went 10.1 on radials bloke
Also believe Andy PSI747 (OVL087 on here) has gone 10.1@137mph on radials and 9.9@136mph with 8.5" slicks - unmodified GT35r 1.06

Well I ran 10.43@? (mph didnt display) last sun. That would classify as street fighter class as Ive got et streets, full exhaust and v power. Im pretty sure maxpsi was using race fuel to run 10.1. Also udlose ran around 10.5@147 on pump, dont know what tyres?

Id like to know whos ran the quickest on straight pump and dot radials?

Congrats Wizza . Fantastic time. Looking forward to Streetfighter. Won't be surprised if records get broken.

If your serious about this then surely people will have to provide time slips?

udlose was on a 26x10 inch slick and no headlight. manual. 10.66@142mph and 147mph on an earlier pass that night. full exhaust and bp ultimate.

also keen to know what the 35/40 record is. as i was told no one had ran a 9 so far. (others that had were modified wheels etc etc)

who really cares honestly? all this bull**** fastest with a 35/40, modified wheels or not, fastest with a t3, fastest on a 26x10, 28x10 etc, its all my ****s bigger than yours really....at the end of the day you modify your car to run a quick time its whoever has the deepest pockets...whatever the combination you choose to run..

Its not the guinness book of records why cant some people just go out and race there cars without the my ****s bigger than yours and, oh & i beat the VL with quad cam, triple turbo and 35" slicks with my stock bolt on 35/40 job on 7psi...anything for a new record....

^The best ones are the ones that are so specific, like:

Fastest BT1 on 15psi, manual, with 3.9s and a high flow. Someome might have done it faster but had 16psi in it. haha.

I think you need to forget turbos etc as anyone can put upgraded internals and act all heroic... Like fitting 68mm compressor wheels can calling it a 35/40

Just make some basic classes - Streetfighter, pro street, drag, unlimited. If you want to claim a record fit into that set of rules. Look at things like tyre, fuel, chassi

except for this

{Street fighter}
Street trim cars on pump fuel and street approved tyres.
All other classes can run any fuel or tire, Strict rules apply in street fighter.

is nitrous allowed?
Don't think so Trev. Nitrous is illegal for street use, so it shouldn't be allowed.

from memory so is most vl's

i vaguely remember it being said on ET if u have the balls to run it on the street u can run it on the track (my nitrous bottle stays inmy car alll the time connected)

only resone i ask as i want to use it to spool my turbo up quickly as it takes roughly 8 secconds to get onto my launching boost without it and havent been able to even see if street fighter is heads up or not
