the injected heads have a different port configuration, therefore you also have to change the exhausts, intake and camshaft. I believe you'd have to make your own exhaust setup for a twin turb setup.

A centrifugal charger would be the way to go IMHO.

Why do you want to go injection? Both forced induction methods will work with blow-through carbs!

i want a manifold setup like eddy tassoneis vh had sticking out the bonnet

and supercharged is probably the way i would go now

vortech v2

by the way has anyone seen those superchargers that was on stra8z, its a vk featured in street commodores

i think it was a wiend 250, roots type, this would be mad as i would have forced induction but still have a big ass k and n filter sticking out the bonnet like some calais ive seen

then with 19s vygts wheels and slamed stance my car would rock
.

LOL ring Active Automotive. That's Eddy's shop. If you want a manifold/Turbo setup like that expect to pay well above $30k

Hope you got lots of money... going EFI is one thing, but twin throttle bodies with a couple of turbos is a completely different ball park. 5 years ago I spent $15,000 on my VL going from 3L auto to VS injected V8 manual including a few extras

i want wow factor, a biit of go factor and to be unique,

im reaLLY chasing up that idea of the weiand 250 roots type blower with carby and big filter out the bonnet,.

im going auto th700, setup like street was in street commodores, also im thinking the twin turbo kit that street got as well

i can get a efi v8 pretty easy, my cousin knows peoples that have heaps, so engine no problem,

but again i like that old school setup i talked about, i will get pic to show you guys

Have you ever played with blowers before?? If this is a street car, roots style blowers are illegal unless you can find a b&m low blow and keep it all under the bonnet. If you keep one carby u may be able to pick up reasonably good example of say a 6/71 for around a grand...no intake manifold etc. then ofcourse you need the intake and carburettors to run it, plus you need to re-tune them all the time as they go out of tune and you will really need someone who specialises in this kind of tuning to do it AND theyre a pig on the street unless theyre injected. should you stick on an injector hat...theyre big dollars. on top of this you really need largely ported heads etc to make the most of all that forced induction. If you go the efi style engine with vn heads etc and you must have that k&n air cleaner sticking through the bonnet just go for a harrop or torque power high rise manifold. trust me, you'll get an aircleaner poking through the bonnet without a problem. you can also put a good size cam in this way to make the most potential out of that manifold and have heaps of 'go factor'. I like the turbo 700 idea though. im doing the same.... i dont know for how long one would hold up behind a blown engine though....most guys use turbo 400's and glides for a reason. If you add up the costs a decent injected engine rebuild with high rise manifold etc is gonna be around 5-6g and a turbo 700 stage 2 shift and fully reco'd will be around 2-3g not to mention the rest of the driveline. if you plan on supercharging add a few more grand to that price and if you want to play with twin turbos then you can probably double or tripple that price by the time you get through all the customising and tuning.

or you can buy this, forget about efi heads, just build a strong bottom end add a referenced carb, turbo box and 9" and you are away

Pictures are great. as for this link this is what i mean for cost with supercharges. all so expensive. as all the internals are...i think a set of like ross pistons are around $1200 now??

iif you have endless amounts of money, go hard and do it though, always good to see something a bit different.

thats it i might go the supercharged route shown with eaton m112
but also go like a smaller vortech unit on the side where the battery is and pump air through an intercooler to the eaton unit

so in the end it will be twin charged

lol so true. Think of a figure of what it'll cost, and cause it seems your haven't really rung around, quadraple it, and you might be close.

yes dreaming is nice, thats all i think it will get to..
there are no off the shelf turbo kits (that i know of) for holden V8, street is an LS1 (there are more than 7 kits available for LS* motors).

Obviously you havent done any homework AT ALL.. T700 would crumble behind a FI V8 unless it was built right... i smashed a stock 4L60E behind a mild LS1.

You can usually tell the men from the boys.. i think you fall into the boy category when it comes to cars.. sorry to say but do some research because i laughed at all of your posts

I've got a mate who's currently a test bed for a twin turbo EFI 304/308 kit, should be very interested to see what it goes for!
