Finally some updates. Got front struts with super/ultra lows and rear super/ultra lows and shortened wagon shocks off trademe (from Damo) i think. There was a lot of procrastination before i finaly got round to installing them. Repainted the rear springs and got them fitted with the shocks, which was a nightmare to get the sleeves out of the old ones to put in the new ones for the lower mounting.
Got all new wheel bearings for the front and everything went smoothly until last corner i checked the outer bearing cup in the hub and it was farked. So managed to get that out of the hub and opened the box of new bearings to find the wrong type so had to wait for a ride to part master. But after that smooth sailing and looks just like id hoped plus the great satisfaction of doing all the work my self.

Also have got extractors and full 2 1/4 or 1/2 inch exhaust with a resonator and HSV muffler installed that i got off DOSEIT which produces a mint rumble, gave my window trims a touch up with matte black paint they were looking really worn and haggered and came up real nice as well as fitted a momo steering wheel.

Pics when i can figure out imagebucket

Doesn't really matter too much, but I think you'll find the window surrounds are supposed to be gloss black...(Unless you were going for a different look)

She's got a nice ride height at the rear

Few updates. Got myself a Link G1 (old school), RB20det turbo, 30et injectors, stock VLT exh manifold, 550x230x65 intercooler and custom intercooler piping setup and customised exhaust by Danny (UNONT2).

Bay definitely needs a tidy up, so sloppy

Off to Dannys

Slow but enjoyable process wiring

Piping on

Car looks great, perfect ride height!

What paint did you use for your springs, and did you do anything special when painting them? I'm wanting to paint some King springs black before putting them in my wagon so they don't stand out so much, but I'm concerned about the paint cracking and chipping off when the spring compresses

Some people said it might chip off but i havent noticed yet. Just stripped them off and gave them a few coats out of a can seemed to work fine. The stripping was such a nightmare i didnt do the front springs left that for a later date.

Just use a reasonable paint and it will be fine.

Cheers Marty

Cheers man, soon as i saw a pic of them on a VL i knew it was what i wanted and couldnt be happier with how it looks now.

Finished fitting up the piping for the intercooler.

Got the bumper all back together, also got some air horns from pick a part to replace my tired old horn that sounded like a screaming goat.

Stealthy as unless your crouched down and purposely looking for it.

Piping in the bay all sorted. All i need now is to set up a dose pipe, blank off the BOV fitting, stop being a lazy fcker and wire in the ECU and im good to go muzza spec
Engine bay could also use a very good clean. First stop when i get it driving again

Its way more stealth than that but the flash reflects back and reveals it really well.
Once i get it up and running i was thinking about painting all the piping wrinkle black and the rocker cover wrinkle red.
