Question for the Gurus

Hi guys on the front bailey channel on my VL there is a number F1C8. Does anyone know what this means?

My guess would be that when the part was pressed, these are stampings to help
Keep track of batches of parts. I once used to be a press operator years ago and when setting up the die (the tool used to stamp the part), we could add characters/ digits or the die had them in it.

Every panel has a number stamped in it some where all where you can't see them

hey guys got a vl Calais series 1 1986 unfinished project rb 25det ser 2 auto conversion in there braught it quite a few years ago the wireing is all done the car is 90% complete just need a few parts coil packs, exhaust was wondering if I need a rb25 power steering line or an rb 30 one ?
