How much did the head cost from bullet cylinder heads if you don't mind me asking?

-pumba- and MBHSV5 are running the Caltex eflex without any issues, CHUBSPT is running the united e85 and I'm currently in the process of converting mine to united e85.

dont put caltex **** in your car is called bio-eflex because the ethanol content ranges from 70-85% at any given time of the year

the only relatively consistent ethanol to use is united which is actually E85

i run united E85 in my car, the caltex varies to much more my liking... But there is plenty of people on here running the caltex e85 and are running fast times. Speak to your tuner about it

If its tune for a low ethanol content it will be fine. But as above, talk to your tuner.

I don't know what a bullet head would be worth, but I'm interested to know!

You have a PS2000, install a wideband O2 and it will automatically adjust the map according to the ethanol content!

We run Caltex E85 in our VE Calais-V. Have used united as well and haven't noticed any difference. You will notice a difference over winter though, as the blend will drop closer to 70%. My suggestion would be to get your tuner to map a tune at about 77-78%. This will mean the car will never be too lean or to rich. Also stick to the same servo for a consistent product.

You won't really notice a difference in the ethanol content fluctuation in the VE because it has flex fuel and adjusts accordingly like I mentioned the PS2000 is capable of doing also.

If your running e85 it has better knock properties so you shouldn't need to lower your comp ratio all that will do is make it laggier

its actually better to raise the comp rather then lower it on e85 engines.

On a Typical healthy Rb motor you'd be looking at around 40rwkw picked up from timing from 98 octane straight up, then if you have a big turbo theres always a healthy dose of boost... so sometimes way over 100rwkw gain..
cheers
darren

as tuxedo said i am running caltex eflex and its fine, woodcroft is the closest servo to me too so thats why i went with it. my car was tuned on it and thats all i run in it. My tuner has his own cars on the eflex too and hasnt had any dramas.

mine was supposedly made 608rwhp on 98octane on 23psi through my glide which was a mega raging gay dyno imo, anyways got my car redone on united e85 on 21psi and made 610rwhp on Maatouks dyno which is a low reading dyno and im sure it would have made more power but the cooler piping blew off before the run finished. So in my opinion there was a big difference between the fuels and performance
