Andy (OVL087) went 10.0 on 235/60R15 MT ET street radial, then put the slicks on and went 9.95

That wasnt on pump. He always runs C16 at the track. He has a girly 17 psi tune for the pump/street tune.

Judging by the fact the question has been asked several times with no answer, I highly doubt it. In fact I know for 100% certainty that if this thing has a GT35 that the power level simply isn't possible on 98, which is why ollies car runs E85, and even then with 30psi and E85 only run 133mph and its a featherweight.

Not taking anything away from the effort, don't take the negative from all the positive, 9's on radials driven home is a feat few have ever achieved regardless of fuel

Actually, M/T ET Streets are a bias ply drag slick with a few grooves in them and are illegal to use on the street, whereas M/T ET Street Radials are radial tyres and legal to use on the street.

DOT approval is gained in the USA and is what all Australian tyres run off, there's no such thing as Australian DOT approved tyres as they're approval is in America.

To be legal you need to be speed and load rated, MT ET street radials have no load rating on the side wall.

Yeah, I was just checking that

Just because it is "DOT" approved doesn't make it legal in Aus.

Regardless of brand, DOT approval is gained in the USA and this is what speed, load and wear ratings the manufacturers use as the DOT is a private testing company.

Most tyres are speed and load rated which is required, but not the mickeys.

No one does care, and I also do consider E85 to be pump fuel, especially with the pending release of 200 E85 pumps australia wide by 2011. People are just trying to get an idea of what he used for their own interest, he didn't say he was the fastest pump fuel VL he said he was the fastest on radials
