ls1 fits hell easy in that engine bay! so much room compared to a vl.

how much room is there in the trans tunnel?

The T400 hasn't been in it yet as it was still being built when i test fitted the engine.

I'm already well aware that i'll have to attach it to the engine before fitting as there is 2 bolts that would be impossible to do with engine already in.

Also have no choice but to run a B&M due to clearance between floor and shifter attachment.

But yeah there is bulk free space in the engine bay, the 4-1's shall fill the void between the engine and the rails though haha

looks good mate

will you be able to remove them once in the car all up and running? or will it be a whole engine and trans out job?

I will be able to remove them with the engine/box in the car but it will be a prick of a job.

Oops forgot to keep this going

I am so so tired right now from pretty much 6 solid days and 1000 phone calls
Got the Moroso oil pickup, f body camaro windage tray and Moroso sump on the engine today. Tested up the extractors/mounts/starter then dropped the engine back in for now
Got plenty of help to get it running... few budget killers have arisen namely a speedo sensor kit that needs to get pressed into the box back at DTM on Monday NOR (yay driving!) The joys of doing a retro Torana though i guess
But i wanted to show off the porn radiator (Browns built not some half assed pwr/adc)

Bit of a dummy fit

Finished up for the day, not entirely lift kitted spec

Tried to get it going for Dad's funeral on Friday but its too much stress on the family so i'll aim for father's day burnout comp and i'll light her up once and once only!

Its in another magazine also!

Yeah it sucks, will throw a thread up on his Dodge me and my brothers will be keeping up to scratch and cruising the hell out of.

Its a bummer he didn't get to see it which was the whole idea of the conversion so the first and last skid it does will be a good one!

Had some good/bad news today though, had a really good mate (Josh from Metalcraft) come and check what needs to be done for fuel system, tranny lines, remote oil filter lines and intake and a plan has been made but he can't get me into his workshop for a bit

The good thing about this is i'll have time to do the loom perfectly, some custom and moved brake lines and mod the torana handbrake cable to fit the R31 calipers.

Updates will still be constant of course!

Sorry for late reply, this project is kind of shelved because it reminds me too much of the old man so i don't go in its shed all that much. Will concentrate on making the kinger a nice cruiser for now which i didn't end up selling.

Nothing has changed Mo... did get offered some more workshop space but couldn't come up with the cash due to the VR still not selling.
