Oh yeah VL sold...I'd put some more pics up but i don't know how this one was a fluke. It's running a 9 inch rear (4.33.1) with 8.5" deep dish convo pros. tricked up trimatic, very lumpy cam, original fitted 308, up rated fuel system, smoothed engine bay. It was originally maroon over silver but this has been changed to deep maroon over gold with a bright gold highlight inbetween the two colours. Original SL/E interior (colour I'm not a fan of and will eventually change) minus the center console. Engine need a spacer inbetween the carbie and manifold, MSD ignition and a slightly smaller carbies and it should run mid 11s. If anyone canput my other pics up that would be great.
.

Haven't got any pics of the underside yet, will try to get some up soon. It hasn't got a four link/coilovers if thats what your thinking, still the factory style set up. I got it for a song (don't like disclosing actual figures) according to the mechanic i had check out the car. He reckoned that the amount i paid for it would have been the amount spent on the engine alone!!

RVK 355 Cheers mate whats your email address and i'll send them to you. The engine should do an easy 400hp but i haven't had the time to dyno it yet.

JET R31 I haven't been able to drive the car much as i'm up here and the car is down south until i can organise a way to get it up here but it wouldn't suprise me if it didn't considering the amount of mods done to the engine.

To everyone thanks for the comments and if you happen to find any SL/E parts in good condition let me know Cheers

NTMID8 They say a change is as good as a holiday

Jet R31 Its a stock stroke motor but unsure of the heads. As far as the cam goes i'd say its solid, it revs from 3200 right through to 7000 and is very lumpy. It has a torque power single plane manifold with a 950 DP carbie (to big).

I've got RVK 355 putting some more pics up as well, cheers for that mate. When it all comes down to it you can't beat the sound of a worked N/A V8!!

RVK 355 Cheers again for post my pics. I'll get the pics of the rear end to you as soon as i can As far as i can remember its a 950 HP, i'll know more when i see it again. I'm thinking of dropping the cam to something not so obvious and a bit smoother. Hopefully i'll be able to retaining the same amount of power it has now.

NSNPWR As much as i would love an 8/71 (as would my colleges at work LOL) i do have a soft spot for tough N/A motors.

WEEZY Gotta admit the calais would look awesome like that.
