Transporting

Hey guys,

What are the options and costs of getting a car shipped over from another state?

I really would like to buy one in SA some time later next year, I doubt i'll find one though -- so I'd be prepared to travel to Vic/NSW and have a look, only problem is, i'd need to drive there and can't exactly drive two cars back myself And probably wouldn't want to take the new car on a long drive without checking it out I guess...

Anyway I might end up getting someone to come for a drive with me, but it's a bit of a pain that there are no good VL's for sale in SA ever!

find a car you are pretty sure you want to buy and travel there by plane
one way tickets to melb can be had for $100 or less these days and that should be about the same as petrol to drive there...
you could always fly back if you didnt like the car but obviously you may have to wait for a flight if you havent booked
