what are the secrets in building a strong bottom end ?

Measure.
Once you've measure your clearances, then you measure again.

Other than that, the obvious things like using quality parts, quality torque wrench, a clean work area and a good quality assembly lube.

Cheers , A engine builder will build it for me , Iím going to use nitto rods and pistons , nitto crank collar , nitto oil pump , ati balancer , Maatouks 8ltr sump. ?
