Bosch 1000cc injectors for e85
1.3mm cometic head gasket & ARP head studs (unsure if needed)
custom intake plenum and top mount exh manifold

That is some serious turbo action man. What compression do you think youll have with 3mm head gasket and why have you put such a thick one ?
Also i would recommend upgrading the G1. I used to use one and they are quite limited although they do get the job done.
Do you reckon coil upgrade through dizzy is sufficient? Was looking at 6 coils and a voltage booster from ICE Ignitions.

Fuel setup - Replaced intank pump with DW200, surge tank with DW350IL, -6AN braided lines, Aeromotive fuel reg.

Turbo dummy fitted in a mates car

just what a mate recommend using. comp is 7.5.1 and previous setup was running 20 psi on 550cc injectors with a proboost gt35/40. motor taking a big thrashing and loving it.yer the link i think i will upgrade to a newer version. im running a 60ltr cell. twin 044 pumps. -8 lines front to back. holley fuel reg. ignition is msd 6al and ss blaster coil. once car is back together just. going to run it on 550cc injectors and low boost. and make sure everything is happy. as there is lots of new parts. always gonna have problems. future id like to upgrade to a 26 head. how long is yours off till running you reckon

Interesting. Whats the bottom end torque and lag like with 7.5 compression ratio? Wise to run it in easy and just weed out the problems. Fuel setup is tidy man. Had any problems with battery in the boot ? 26 head would be mad.

Hmmm hopefully all together by december and tuned if im lucky. Mate is finishing welding hole in the engine bay tomorrow so i can fully prime that, drill holes for intercooler and new loom plug. Bought the looms and sensors so waiting on them to be delivered and ill crack into that then its just the fuel setup and deciding on ignition setup

Turbo hot side

I was running a 1.05 rear housing and with a 3800 converter it hit boost around 3500rpm but hauled ass. No baking tyres just smooth. Battery to boot was nice and easy no issues. Hope to have it running next month.

Chuck some pics up once you painted the bay. You doing any smoothing

that sounds like decent rpm to come on boost. unsure how mine will handle it being manual. can you direct message me some pics of your battery boot install ? about to attempt it and after some ideas.

Dont want to fill this thread with non relevant stuff but doing some smoothing, got rid of the fuse box and driver side engine loom, removed battery tray and smoothed a bit where strut towers meet guard.

and more glorious turbo for motivation

They'll do 420rwkw most of the time, after that they seem to just bend rods. I used to rev shot peened standard rods to 8000rpm - which was fine, but the standard oil pumps dont like it.
