VL Turbo PWR button not working

Hi wondering if anyone can tell me what the pwr button is hooked up to? The power button was working consistantly every time.. but my kickdown under throttle was a bit inconsistent. I changed my dasg cluster back to my original one which the odometer has jumped 100,000km at a time then the counter stopped.. The kickdown has definitely become a lot better and more responsive but when cruising if i push the power button now i get nothing at all. Just the light on the dash.. if i can get that power button working along with the kickdown i have now.. i think itll be running again like it used to.. with the power button on and planting my foot she used to kickdown really hard..
Any help appreciated..
Cheers
