Headgasket should be done tomorrow. Here's some new pictures.

Recent picture of her (took the other day... looking sad because she hasn't had a wash)

Picture with a mates FG.

Cleaned the interior (besides the seats).

- New Dizzy (Crank Angle Sensor went, so replaced whole lot).
- New Throttle Cable (Ordered; picking up and fitting tomorrow).
- New Oil Filter.

Hopefully this will be the last of my problems.

Car ran for a bit, then f*cked out. Some electrical issues. Gonna have someone look into it within the next few days. Removed intercooler the other day.

Currently my short term mod list is:

> 15x7 Pursuit Rims + Whitewalls.
> Venetian Blinds (Rear).
> Fix cosmetic issues.
> Do general fixes here and there..

Ah.. fair enough.

Considering putting an RB25DET into my VL... spoke to HurtinIt/Justin about it, and he seems to like his one...

At the moment my VL is having electrical issues (still)... I'll have to fix it eventually.. oops.

I have updated the OP again..

Cannot seem to make up my mind, as to whether I want to stay SOHC with a high or low mount setup, or whether I just wanna drop in an RB25DET and make cheap and easy power... Decisions decisions... but an even better option would be to some how get enough money together to convince Justin to sell his black beast... which honestly is the best option out of them all...

Anyway. My 700$ ****box is still undergoing the transfer process, starting to lose my patience.... once it's transferred into my name it's probably going to get sold to fund my current VL...

Still experiencing electrical issues with my current VL.... not sure what it is... will try have a crack at fixing it soon... only started to get serious two days ago...

How much power would you ultimately be chasing with the car? The 25 conversion is simple enough to do, but just depends on wether it's worth while for you in regards to what you want.

No such thing as cheap and easy power bro, every bloke on here will tell you that. unless you have a full rb25 conversion with everything ready to go in its not gonna work you out cheaper than doing a turbo conversion on your 30.

the only "cheap" way is to take your time and have a plan of what you ultimately wanna do race, track or just street sleeper

We all know that "cheap" by VL Standards is a fortune to anyone rational or who doesn't own one. But I heard that I can make good power with a 25 for a cheaper price than doing a turbo conversion on my 30.

Electrical issues have been resolved. The car used to have a kill switch which would shut off the fuel pump. However, for some stupid reason it must have been uninstalled at one stage, and there were still two wires there. Upon clenching them the fuel pump would kick in (this is what I had to do sometimes). So these wires are now removed, and everything is fine. Looking at purchasing a VL Calais next. Not going to sell this one however. Gonna try keep it stock. Lets see how long that lasts....

Do you have anymore info on the brochures and other factory details about it you could post up?

Just found a build sheet for a Calais America's Cup car in Adelaide yesterday.

Went into a traffic light due to it hydroplaning. Insurance wouldn't directly sell us the car back either, because they're pricks. So it got auctioned off for $900.00 supposedly, which is bull****.... they didn't even tell us that but oh well..
