ok this is all i know:

there is a wire running from the post in the engine bay, that is orange in colour, that is causing all the volts in the engine bay to fluctuate,on the injectors, ecu everything. When the car was at ovaboost they told me they tested all the wires running from the post and the orange wire is the one thats causing the fluctuation but we dont know why its doing it. it only does it once the car is turned on. The power from the battery in the boot to the post in the bay is fine and doesnt fluctuate but from the post everything connected there is fluctuating.

The previous owner also did some really dodgy wiring under the fuseblock which is why i bought a new one but the wires have been cut and run to different fuses so i'm not sure how to correclty re-wire the new fuseblock.

Hence the plea for some help from an Auto Sparky.

Start simple, check the earths. Wouldnt the feed from the battery be at the starter motor? or have u ran it to some sort of connection point? or is that what u mean by post?

Yeah, when the battery was moved to the boot, they mounted a post in the engine bay that the cable from the battery runs to and then everything that connected to the battery connects there.

Interior has been taken out ready for wiring.

I've gathered up some parts and saved up some coin to hopefully get this car on the road again.

Great build man, you have really made some excellent progress on this car. I went through the whole thread, looking forward to updates.

FINALLY AFTER SITTING NEXT TO MY HOUSE FOR 20 MONTHS there is some progress..

Dropped the car off to get the wiring done on firday. I bought a calais body loom so that i can run electric mirrors and electric windows. The front motors are already in and the rears will go in once the car comes home again. The old fuseblock is also getting replaced with a new one and hopefully it will be re-located to inside the car. I also picked up an eboost2 to replace the ebay controller i had before.

The old interior is also gone and i have opted for grey calais seats and a grey dash to match with a carpeted high rise and glovebox.

Other bits i got is an adjustable panhard rod and front and rear strut braces. Also got a recon'd powersteering rack to replace the old one.

I also picked up some vx calais rims for when pursuits with chrome trims aren't sufficient.

Once the car is back to together i'll get it tuned.

The electrician said he has a list, when it was there last time, they wired in the calais body loom so all the door locks work but when i plugged in the side mirrors the doorlocks were popping open and closed so i dunno whatup there, plus the two centre console swithces i have for the windows didnt work last time and i have yet to put the motors in the back doors, but i did hook em up to a battery and they are wokring just not fitted.

When i got it home from the electrician and tried to crank it over there was no reading on the mechanical oil pressure gauge and it was just kicking over not starting so i'll take it back to have the back doors wired up and then they need to check that everything electric works as it should.

They also replaced the old fuseblock that was held together with hopes and dreams and caravan fuses, and put an earth strap on the block so it's all grounded and hopefully ready to drive soon.

it can take a considerable amount of cold cranking to get oil pressure so dont stress too much about that side of things mate. if it starts and doesnt get it quickly, thats a different ball game.

New pads, discs and braided lines. I replaced the seals on the calipers and painted them while it was all off.

New headlights and silicone hoses on the way. Need to bleed brakes and put wheels back on. One tyre is already flat so I'll have to get it swapped. Got some time off in April to get the tune booked. Stil need to do the braided fuel lines if anyone has experience in doing this and wants to help me :-)

Ok so from what I've been told the tps itsreading that it's at full throttle even when it's not plugged In and the fuel pumps aren't priming. I think the fuel pumps is just a fuse cause they were priming before I took it to the shop and also because I think I pulled the fuse out when I was working on the electric windows...lol

The power steering rack was f**ked so they gonna put in a recon'd that I got from mo a while back. The fuel lines are done and the new gate and screamer are done too so I can't imagine there would be much left to get it going now.

On a more serious note what power should I be expecting? Is 250hp realistic Orr..?
