Yeah i have tried both the blue wires. I joined the original slider clip on to the blue wire that had been cut.
For some reason there was no slider clip??
As for the cluster. I made pins to give the oil gauge power etc.
Is there a way to test the oil pressure sender eg. using ohms on a multimeter at dif pressure. similar to the CTS tests???
I sent a PM to VDO but had no reply yet.
Are you suggesting i use a VK oil pressure sender???
Would i then need to use the gauge as well so they are compatible.
Cheers for the help.
If i can get this gauge to read properly then i can finish the custom face plate i am making. If all goes well i'll be making them for sale....

Did this fix the other day since I put my new motor in, was fixing the odometer with a new sun gear and thought while I have the dash out I'll fix the Oil Pressure Gauge, went to repco and bought a female universal stereo wiring loom pulled one of the crimped wires out of the loom and used that to insert into the Pin 2 location, then spliced it with the wire from pin 14.
