LPG questions
Hi, I've been searching the Internet for an LPG forum and this is one of the few discussion boards I've come across. I have a SPRINT mixer-type LPG system (not injected) fitted to an EFI vehicle.
I'm not sure what the LPG ECU looks like but I was wondering if it's possible to disconnect the car battery to reset the vehicles PCM without losing the settings on the LPG computer? Could I keep power to the LPG ECU (wherever it is located) by running a direct wire from the battery?
Also, I've been told when running on LPG the Fuel Trims are somehow related to the petrol Fuel Trims so to get it running right on LPG you have to get it running right on petrol first. Does this mean if you are running rich on petrol you will automatically be running rich on LPG too? I have +30% LTFT on LPG (running very rich) and +15% LTFT on petrol and I don't really understand how this works.
