Yeah I did. There was 140 entrants. Couldn't get it off the line properly just kept turning tyres 1st and 2nd. 60ft times were pretty bad. Best was 1.806 and didn't do a full pass as they were kicking people out for going a 10.95. I ran a 11.13 104 mph hitting the brakes at 1000 ft mark. Gotta get better tyres and give it a go next street meet.

not a bad result considering your backing off.
what tyres did you run? did you get a half track time and MPH?
That sux they were kicking people out, did they get a warnign or just straight out?

They were giving no warning just kicking out straight away. The only other mph is at 1000ft mark I think. It was between 103 & 109 mph.

Thats crap, how are you supposed to know what your car will run if you have never raced it before, 1st run pull a 10 and its all over. They realy need to look at changimg rules.

Sadly id imagine that's Andra for you. So I guess if them the rules my home days are over. Thanks Abrowne but its not the inspection that bothers me its the $$$ involved to get my car up to standard.

Saturday 18th May, they're starting night street meets. Will be interesting to see how the turnout is. $60 entry and $20 day licence which is decent cost. Anyone thinking about heading along?

yeah i heard 11.99 and no slicks allowed. i wanna enter but i dont wanna have to back off, if i go i wanna see what it can do not do 1 or 2 runs and be sent home. but who knows for the price i still might go just to get a feel for it all.

You would be doing pretty good if you ran a 11.99 on street tyres. I tried it and couldnt get any traction at 180 kph. Gets a little scary going sideways at that speed.

im just positive thinking lol havnt ran the car yet. i have some tyres that i can use that should hook up pretty good but i just wanted to go straight to slicks. Mine isnt as brutal as yours lol but should still get a decent time out of it, guess the only way to tell is just go out there and give it a crack
