Where to get a VL resprayed???

Does anyone have any recommendations of any paint shops in Victoria that offer good quality for money? Also I would appreciate if anyone could give me some quotes that they had been offered in the past. I searched through the site regarding this and only found a bunch of outdated threads. Please help!

mate if your dead set keen on getting your car painted, call up a few panel shops/take the car there for a quote, its like someone calling me and asking how much will it be to do all the joinery in their house without me going to measure/quote.

a bunch of blokes on a forum cant tell you how much it is to paint your car, they can recommend some shops. No point asking for other peoples quotes every cars different.!

dont be lazy

^ thats true.

It also depends, do you want boot, engine bay, door jams, are you stripping the interior yourself will you put it back together etc etc.

Everywhere will quote different prices, and you pay for what you get with a paint job, so dont just go for the cheapest quote, either someone can recommend a good paint shop or go into a few and ask to give you a quote and show you some of the cars they have painted to see if your happy with there ability to paint remember %80 of how good a car will come out is how well the body work is done.

It could be anywhere from 2k to 20k depending on the paint and what kind of jobs you would want done and the condition of the car.

Hope that helps

yep, learnt that the hard way. I was 16 though there was no chance of affording a respray. Still not right to lie to me and not deliver to there word.

lol bayside autos shonkiest cvnts around did maz **** you around not awnser calls etc most panel shops doing full resprays will take awhile alot of the time they will only be doing bits and pieces at a time and doing smash work first but you get what you pay for and a good job takes alot of work so expect to lose your car for a month atleast
