Tandem Trailer, help a brother out plzzzzz

guys i really need a persons help asap well by saturday,
to cut a long story short i need to borrow a tandem trailer by saturday as i was ****ed over by a guy who offered me his um here in qld but he was reluctant to inform me that its not available untill this week.....thats the short story

long story........ok i moved to qld in january for work from melbourne, ive been privelaged to meet a few top notch guys in the car scene up here that has helped me out more than words can explain, any way i met a guy up here who has been following my build through out the years as he HAD a vl turbo wagon also (now gone) he is into his turbo fords and ke corollas ect, anyway knowing my car would be ready for tune at the end of the year as i had planned to head to melbourne for holidays and xmas with family and friends i asked him if he knnew anyone who has a tandem and if they would lend it ect and i would be happy to pay to use it ect even pay rego and put new tires and so on but he didnt want anything for useing it, this was talked about in april/may this year, he said he had one i could borrow as long as i look after it and not trash it ect which i told him that if it gets wrecked then so will my car as it will be tied on it so i will be taking extra care regardless plus i would be heading down with my wife and 3 children so i wont be doing anything stupid, he was happy with that and so i thought it was all organised. every 2 or so weeks id pop up and just confirm with him that we were still good to use the trailor and every time he said yep its all yours, anyway speaking to this guy this week and now he wont give me a straight answer as to the trailer and so on, he sent me a message saying he is trying to get one and he will just put his rego plate and vin number on it and it will all be good.......i said theres no hope in hell that im going to drive 4000km with a ****en stolen trailor, i asked where his one was and he said he has to weld new guards on it and get it registered aswell as tyres........Fvuck me isnt 8 months long enough notice with regular updates to make sure its all good......during the 8 months i continued to offer payment for anything it may or may not of needed eg tyres rego paint ect as i know sometime things happen thats un avoidable i just kept saying if it needs anything let me know and ill either go get it or transfer funds for it to be bought, but he never asked or took 1 cent

well now im with out a trailor with my tune booked in for tuesday in hallam aswell as a rwc on the 17th and rego with vic roads on 28th..... can some one help me out i know its a long shot, i need the trailor for 3 weeks ill be back in qld on the 5-6th of jan.......i would hire one but i havent budgeted for it due to him saying i can use his for free, and to hire 1 ill have to either cancil the tune or the rego, plus trailer hire for 3 weeks is around the 1500-2000 mark ive already rang around...ive also asked about 1 way trips and thats still $900-1200 one way......

i totaly understand if i dont get a reply or no one is willing to pull some strings to lend me one as alot of you dont know me from a bar of soap but those that do im sure they will vouch for me that im more than trustworth with other peoples stuff.......ive helpt 100's of people out on here with either hands on labour or knolage...guess im now asking for a favour in return when i need it most

any one?????

Have you thought about sticking it on a transporter to get it down there.. would be bucketloads cheaper.

Once down there, get tune and rego and drive it home. Last time a car come across from Perth it was only $600

now that's thinking and a plan, good idea!

imagine the fuel you'd use towing the car both ways otherwise too

Graeme... you make me wish I had a trailer to lend you mate. If I could help in any way I would - unfortunately, I usually end up hiring trailers or paying a towie when I need my car transported locally....

Hire a trailer that u can drop off at an affiliated servo. Ie: bp in qld to bp in Vic...

If not float it down mate that's your best and only option.

Not towing to Vic over Christmas time is my idea of fun!

I've called heaps of places they all claim they can do it but have not got any quick cars to show for it... One mob said they can dune the LPG no problem at all as there an LPG gas research specialist but they Don't tune haltech so it defetes the purpose of the tune
