im looking at upgradeing my converter, just wondering who has a contact at tce i just called up and was priced $1540 for what i need...
i need an 8" 4000rpm stall suit glide to rb the glide is useing an adaptor ring with jatco bellhousing if thats needed to know, and will be used for maily street but track once a blue moon

Mate give TCT a call. They're based in Melbourne but Nazih (i think that's what his name was) was very helpful and well priced for my old custom converter. http://www.acceleratorhighstall.com.au/

Graeme, I'll give you a message later, but i'm sure that my custom built converter for the VL (LS1 to T400 stall) is only costing me $800.

From what i can remember the prices jumped significantly after a certain stall speed. Like anything up to 3700rpm was around the $900-$1k mark, then anything bigger than that was around the $1350-$1500 mark wherever i looked, then you've obviously got other variables that will adjust the price

yeah my dominator 3500 9" was $1100 to suit brake and so on
dominator want $1500 for 4000 8"

l got a converter shop for mine , but they get dearer when they get bigger, because they have to start using more billet parts for strengh ,and they depends on sprag or diode aswell mine a 5500 and it was 1500 inc
