100 octane fuel for VL Turbo

Hi Guys,

after 100 octane fuel, anyone know where l can get it from South Eastern side Melbourne?

United used to sell it on Princess hwy in Mulgrave but have got rid of it, so any help would be great.

I have only seen it at United, and it's only currently available on the western side of the city according to their website mate.

any other servos selling 100 octane apart from united and shell?

I think their's a place in Springvale that sells E85. Mulgrave was my old stomping grounds LOL.

You just need to be careful using this ****.

I did extensive testing on RICEFJ (Modified FJ Crusier!) and it will lean out your AFR around -0.5, which is as to be expected as Ethanol has a stoich AFR of around 6.4:1 V's 14.7:1 for petrol, so at 10% mixture in the fuel to make 100oct this is the logical end result.

In my FJ its a win cause it takes the peak power AFR to 12.5:1 to 12.0:1 so it makes more power v's running on BP Ultimate 98.

In a turbo car, you will need to recalibrate your EFI system to take into account the lean out, especially if you are running 30psi on the street
