Green VQ XNV682 will give a reward

Green VQ XNV682 will give a reward

my phone number is 0466897307

I want to find my old VQ as I sold it well over 18 months ago with a current rwc and the filthy fat prick that took ownership never transferred it the lazy animal... Now I've Copt speeding fines etc that has cost me my license so if anyone knows of this car the bloke told me he was from sale... Near gipsland? If anyone knows the owner or a way I can find the car as I want the number plates and his details so I can get my license back I will give a 250 dollar reward too

WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE!

Also the car when I had it was a light green uncommon color but standard and had two tone interior that was black top half and cream below cream seats etc and was in micky condition although it may not be now I don't know it also had VY s pack 17s when I sold it

totally stupid suggestion

so the guy sold the car 18 months ago and you're suggesting that now he says oh my car's been stolen...yeah genius move

1. rego is NOT proof of ownership

2. Brad has SOLD the car

3. Brad should have kept details of the buyer for his own records and passed them onto VicRoads

Stat Dec to VicRoads should have cleared this up somewhat, did Brad do that and if so at what stage.
This is a reminder to anyone who sells a car, keep records and notify the rego authority in your state of the buyer's details

even better bet, get a statedeck and also get a copy of the roady from the mechanic, assuming you know the rough date you had it done the mechanic can pull it out of his book

send that to civic compliance and i'd be shocked if they still pinned it to you

on top of that you need to file this with police as the rego should be suspended immediately as new purchasers receive a 30 day grace period to transfer cars with a valid rwc

Same thing happened to me but roles were reversed i bought my old work van off a old guy 3 days after purchasing he put his end of the paper work into vic roads, 6 days later i got pulled over by the cops for a random check, gave me a warning for a broken tail light and told me that the car was in my name when they ran the plates into their system, and i hadnt been to put my roadworthy/transfer papers into vic roads yet.

Anyways, from that day on any car i have sold i have gone into vicroads within a few days of the sale so that way, they new owner holds his end of the deal and its out of my name and my hands, what ever happens from then is their problem.

Also write out a receipt put down their license number address etc and yours and get them to sign it give them a copy and keep a copy for your self just incase **** like this happens.

my 2c

Yeah I've filled with police but they are trying to say it's still my car and won't do anything which is just more then frustrating

---------- Post added 06-02-12 at 20:53 ----------

Reg has ran out and they are just continuing to drive around with the plates on so eventually the cops will get them but I don't want the fines there getting in the mean time

Yeah don't worry definitly learnt my lesson out this one... It's sad that people can't just be decent and true to there word... Considering all it would of cost would of been roughly 100 to pay stamp duty etc

cops a *** useless, go back and explain the situation again. If they give you the same answer! tell them to report it stolen then, considering its still yours and it seems like an easier way of getting in contact with them lol

one more time:

rego is NOT proof of ownership at all, it's a register of the current registered keeper only

you sold the car

you no longer own the car

you can't report something as stolen if you sold it esp many months later

It's a civil matter mate. You need to do the running around, not get people to chase up some guy they've got nothing to do with.
