Yeah there is a flange welded on the top, above where the turbo sits and the screamer runs down next to the dump

Not sure what type of wastegate it is though

Ok few updates:

Pulled out seats and carpet as the previous owner had glued the black carpet ontop of the old green carpet and it was quite mouldy

Waiting on head and few bits to comeback then bolting it up and on the trailer to the dyno.

Omfg uleh!!

Apparently it was all the rage back in the day to cut holes and mount the subs like that...makes as much sense as glueing the new carpet ontop of the old carpet

what was wrong with the old cam? wasn't that one of those ridiculous race cams? I thought it was the cam that made ferrets engine so awesome? Was it just too unstreatable? I remember the idle in your car was pretty crazy at one point, not sure if it was this engine or a diff one.

Either way, the crow cams are nice, i have a slightly custom ground TX3 in mine, not the nicest thing for the street as it doesnt really come in swinging until around 3k. TX2 should be much more driveable and have nice midrange poke. Midrange=chop on the streets.

Yeah it was just too big for the street and the car had almost no backpressure so brakes were a bit loose..

Should be good now the bottom end still looks good so just gonna keep it till I can afford to rebuild one or it let's go but head should be good now

My goal is never to drag it just to have a nice sleeper looking turbo.
