Back after a few years...

Hey all,
Just thought I'd introduce myself. After a few years of being boring and partaking in less expenive hobbies I've finally decided it's time to bring the calais I've had hidden in the shed out and start the restoration.

About 3 or four years ago I picked up a half decent original Calais Turbo on the forum here fitted with a factory manual box. It had a little work done to it (RB25 head, microtech computer, full exhaust, suspension done ect) and I was using it as a weekend driver. Body wasn't exactly great but looked good from far so was adequete.
Then some lowlives tried to skull drag it onto a tilt tray before being questioned by my neighbour. So I got the ****s, put her on a a car trailer and laid her up in a shed out in the country and shes been there ever since.
Now I'm living out there I've got a bit more time and a big shed at my disposal, so I thought it was time to do the strip down and look at what needs doing.

Also in the pipeline is the posability of buying another Calais off a mate at work who has the car 99% complete but is looking at buying a property so is after the cash. He has spent big $$$ on it and I'm hoping to scoope that one up as well.

I've also got a 97 HSV enhanced statesman and VN Berlina wagon with 5L thats been mildly warmed.

Well I'll be shooting out plenty of questions in the next few months (or years) and hope to see you around the place and looking forward to coming to a few of the cruises once I get one of the VL on the road.
